Ingredients
1 box Chicken Dumpling Soup Mix
5 ½ cups hot water
1 cup cooked chicken, diced
1 cup cream
Instructions
Bring 5 ½ cups hot water to a boil. Add soup mix and dumplings; blend well with whisk. Return soup to a low rolling boil. Reduce heat; simmer about 30 minutes until dumplings are done to your liking. Add shredded chicken and cream in the last 10 minutes of cooking. Stir occasionally.
*Simmering is cooking just below boiling. You’ll see tiny bubbles rising to the surface.
